The Nash

Sometimes all I need are fabulous women, fabulous drinks and live music.  Nashville was EXACTLY what I needed to recharge.  I forget (rarely) how amazing my family is.  After my first night in the Nash, my cheeks and abs were sore from laughing.  That doesn't happen enough, really.

Now, back to reality.

I've just found a new way to waste time on the internet (like I need one). Stumbleupon.com....fill out a little survey about things you're interested in and it allows you to "stumble" onto random websites and pictures.

So far today, I've read "10 Things That Make You Human," "How To Tick People Off," and a list of phobias. This is an excellent alternative to working or applying for jobs.

Try a Little Tenderness

My roommate usually provides our household with entertainment.  This weekend we discovered that the guy she has started dating is married.  Soon to be divorced.  And 22 years old.  Wedding pictures were texted to her as proof.

I feel like whenever I decide to be too legit to quit and BUY music from iTunes, the song I want is unavailable.  Life's a bitch, but at least my boyfriends not married.

Obama Mama

I've gotta say that I am already quite pleased with some of the changes Obama has made.  I hope that it is only the beginning.

Good Morning

Today is one of those days where you have to sit in your car and cry while sappy music plays before going into work.

What....you don't have those days?

Sure you do.

It's Been Awhile...

Back to work, school and all things suck.  But, I can't complain too much....this is my last semester.  Then I need to find a job and be adult.  I am not sure if I'm looking forward to it...I think so.

The Female Quinlan trip to Nashville is what currently gets me through the day.  A combination of bars, music and the best women I know should make for an amazing experience.

Dish To Pass

In high school, I spent many long spandexed Saturdays at volleyball tournaments.  While I loved playing volleyball, it was not the highlight of my day.

The best part was the food.  An amazing potluck feast awaited us after each match.  There was one rule: our meals had to be "healthy."  Sometimes a rebel would bend the rules by bringing whipped cream fruit dip, or something.

At one tournament, my dad brought our "dish to pass."  He brought each player a king size candy bar.  Since he was such a rule-follower, each candy bar had carrots and broccoli Scotch taped to the package.

Delish.
